What Reviews Say

14 reviews analyzed

A&E Pet Haven receives overwhelmingly positive reviews (11 of 14 are 5-star), with customers praising the clean facility, happy dogs upon pickup, fair pricing, and Roger's attentive care. The facility is described as 'no-frills but dependable' - ideal for owners seeking basic boarding without luxury amenities. Two 1-star reviews cite concerns about limited cage space/no outdoor play area and an initial phone interaction where staff seemed annoyed by questions. The majority of long-term customers (including 5+ year patrons) highly recommend the facility, particularly for senior dogs and foster situations.

Worth noting

Dogs confined to small cages with no outdoor run space or toys

There were small dog cages along the back wall with concrete floors. There was no grass, toys, or even space for the dogs to roam during the day besides their small cage.

Dogs reportedly barking/growling at each other with no separation

The other dogs wouldn't stop barking/growling at her, and she was too scared to get in the cage intended for her.

Staff attitude during initial inquiry

The man sounded extremely annoyed that I would call to ask questions.

Facility perceived as too basic/no-frills

I walked in with my dog and immediately left 2 minutes later after seeing the facility.
