What Reviews Say
210 reviews analyzedCanine Connection enjoys overwhelmingly positive reviews (85%+ 5-star ratings) with particular praise for their caring staff, clean facilities, convenient self-wash stations, webcams, and dog pool. However, there are serious red flags including a death of a senior dog from kennel cough complications, reports of frequent injuries, and a few grooming dissatisfaction cases. The facility appears best suited for well-socialized dogs needing daycare or boarding, though potential customers should be aware of the isolated but concerning safety incidents reported in a small number of reviews.

Staff shoutouts
Worth noting
Senior dog contracted kennel cough and ear infection during boarding, later died from complications
โI brought my 9 and a half old boxer here for three days to board while I was out of town... he was lethargic, and coughing... I brought him to the vet, he had an ear infection, and kennel cough... about 4 weeks later he passed. The infections were so bad, that they got into his bloodstream.โ
Dog frequently injured at facility, no acceptance of responsibility
โMy dog is frequently injured when he goes to either location. With one exception, they don't seem interested in accepting responsibility or making amends.โ
Dogs left to bark all day/night, neglected, neighborhood complaint
โDogs are left to bark all day and night. Makes the neighborhood unbearable and the dogs are clearly neglected.โ
Staff disregards customer instructions and avoids phone calls
โAsks for instructions, disregards instructions, avoids your phone calls when you call them out on it.โ
Did not deliver paid service - wrong room reserved, camera blind spots, dog moved without notification
โThe private room I booked was $70 because I wanted a room with a camera to see my dog from my phone. That camera had a big blind spot... They had bathed him as requested, then placed him in a separate temporary room without his stuff.โ
Dog returned dirty with kennel cough
โUnfortunately, my dog returned to me dirty and with kennel cough.โ
Grooming miscommunication and unsatisfactory results(2 mentions)
โI brought my golden retriever in and asked for a puppy cut... my poor golden looked like he'd been through a back-alley breakup... his ears? Lord help me.โ
Grooming handling of nervous dogs
โThe staffer tried to reach over the dog's head and Ernie growled. Staff then said he was too aggressive and couldn't be groomed that day.โ
Rising prices/value concerns
โIt's a good kennel but has become outrageously expensive. Gonna have to look for a more affordable option.โ
Self-service wash closure
โSelf dog wash station closed until further noticeโ
