What Reviews Say

379 reviews analyzed

Central Florida K9 is an overwhelmingly positive facility with 95%+ 5-star reviews. The board-and-train program receives exceptional praise for transforming even the most challenging dogs (reactive, aggressive, fearful). Staff members Jolyne, Ciera, Rina, and Addie are frequently credited with life-changing results. Communication during training (daily photos/videos) is a standout feature. Minor complaints involve occasional service inconsistencies (bath/nail trim oversights, price increases), and one concerning report of harsh training methods. The owner actively responds to reviews. This is a premier dog training facility in Central Florida, though prospective clients should note the premium pricing and that some former highly-praised trainers (like Rina) no longer work there.

Worth noting

Dog returned dirty, no bath or nail trim as promised

Last time I left my dog for around a week here for boarding he did not get a bath, and he came home with pee & poop stuck on his chest hair.

Trainer using harsh collar corrections in public

I witness her yanking on the dogs leash which caused the dogs neck to get yanked back. This dog was wearing a normal collar not a harness... Any professional trainer would know not to jerk or yank so hard like she did because it can cause a spinal injury.

Dog returned skinny/underweight after boarding

Came home skinny as a rail. Still doing same thing. He was scared of us when we picked him up.

Long wait times for scheduled appointments

We waited for 50 minutes past our scheduled evaluation and we left.

Price increases and extra fees(2 mentions)

They raised the price of boarding this year and you have to pay fees for every little detail they perform during the boarding.

Inconsistent updates during boarding(2 mentions)

They also dont provide updates/pictures of the dog anymore unless you call and ask for it.

Lack of follow-through on promised services(2 mentions)

She was discolored, had no bath and no nail trim as promised.
