What Reviews Say

497 reviews analyzed

Club Mead Pet Resort is highly polarized, with many long-term repeat customers praising the friendly staff, convenient airport location, and the fact that dogs return home exhausted. However, a significant number of severe negative reviews describe unsanitary conditions, dogs returning covered in urine, and serious injuries (puncture wounds, broken tails, and paw blisters) that were allegedly not reported to owners. The facility's reliance on concrete flooring and the owner's often dismissive or argumentative response tone to criticism are major points of contention.

Worth noting

Severe physical injuries and lack of medical notification

we discovered that he had 26 puncture wounds some which should have been stitched... my poor baby did not get any vet or proper care

Sanitation and hygiene concerns (urine/feces coverage)

Our dog came back to us covered in urine which it seems like he sat in all day for the entirety of his stay.

Physical environment hazards (concrete burns/blisters)

It was very hot one of those days and my dog’s paws are damaged and have blisters now.

Lack of grass/Concrete-only facility(12 mentions)

if they need grass to pee, there is NONE there is only a bare concrete pad.

Smell and cleanliness(15 mentions)

before you walk in the door be sure to plug your nose, the place smells absolutely rancid.

Kennel Cough and Parasites(5 mentions)

First time he came home with kennel cough... This last time... we are treating him for parasites.
