What Reviews Say

74 reviews analyzed

Covington Creek Veterinary Hospital is highly regarded for Dr. Chaves' medical expertise, thoroughness, and detailed follow-up communication via email. Long-term clients praise the facility for its professional staff and high-quality surgical care. However, the facility faces significant criticism regarding its strict policy of not accepting new patients or emergencies for non-clients, leading to several high-severity negative reviews from pet owners in distress.

Worth noting

Refusal of emergency care for non-established patients

This clinic refused care for our poodle that was in distress & pain. We were NOT established patients so therefore go somewhere else.

Perceived lack of compassion during end-of-life/emergency situations

We watched our 20 year old cat die a slow death and it was very painful... No compassion. No call backs.

Difficulty booking as a new client(3 mentions)

Unable to take new clients?!!!they must have cornered the market!!!

Communication/Phone responsiveness(2 mentions)

Never returns calls
