What Reviews Say
600 reviews analyzedFolsom Dog Resort & Training Center enjoys overwhelmingly positive reviews with approximately 85% 5-star ratings. The facility excels in staff friendliness, cleanliness, and training effectiveness, with many customers praising the transformative results of their dog's training and the caring nature of employees like Mike, Joey, and the grooming staff. However, significant red flags exist including multiple reports of dogs contracting kennel cough or other illnesses after stays, a serious injury incident requiring veterinary care, and concerns about overnight supervision. Some customers also report communication failures and pricing concerns. The owner responds to nearly all reviews professionally, though the response to serious complaints sometimes appears defensive. While the majority of customers are loyal repeat visitors, prospective clients should carefully weigh the mixed safety concerns against the generally excellent care reviews.
