Dog injured at facility requiring surgery - owner blamed dog for being 'nosy'

“My dog was bit while at daycare there and the staff and owner told me over the phone that he had a 'nip' and a 'small tear.' When I arrived to pick him up I was mortified to see his ear was mangled. He ended up needing surgery. Vet bills were $590. They NEVER called to ask me how he was or if they could do anything. The owner told me 'he was asking for it' since he's a 'nosy' dog.”

Dog left in urine for 10+ hours, no responsibility taken

“She is a white dog so you can visibly SEE the yellow urine all down her back side. They left her like that for over 10 hours! I sent the owner an email which included other issues I had, and her response was to try and place the blame on my dog, told me she received the bath which was clearly not true because the pee was still on her and had crusted, and she did not take any responsibility for what happened!”

Puppy broke leg while at facility, not properly crated as requested

“Within 5 mins of dropping her off, I get a phone call that my puppy is not walking on one of her back legs... Turns out, my puppy broke her leg at Gulliver's... We came back the next day to pick her up and guess what, she was not in her crate, but roaming around inside a pen!!”

Dog came home with serious injuries/illness with no staff concern

“She came home with raw pink pads on all 4 of her paws. What bothered me the most was that Gulliver's response to me was that they didn't notice her paws even though my dog was there for 7 days! She also had sores on both of her lips, conjunctivitis and kennel cough.”

Dogs boarding returned sick, smelling of urine, facility overcrowded

“I have boarded my two dogs there 4 times- Twice they have come home extremely sick and all 4 times have come back smelling like urine. There is no one there to watch the dogs overnight so they dogs are crated for roughly 12 hours. The place is overcrowded and I don't believe they sanitize the facility frequently enough.”

Dogs returned covered in feces, fed wrong food causing allergic reaction

“My dogs were boarded here for one day only. They came back to us covered in feces. Not only that, but we were extremely specific that one of our dogs was allergic to most dog food, and provided her vet-approved meals. However, it was clear that she had been given other food because she also had an allergic reaction.”
