Love & Puppiness LA is a dog daycare and playgroup service in Malibu offering structured group play in a 7000 sq ft indoor/outdoor space. With over a decade of experience, they run two groups of up to 15 dogs each, focusing on personality-matched socialization and long-term dog friendships. The service requires a monthly commitment of at least twice weekly at $160 for two full days, and includes a temperament evaluation for new members.

At Love and Puppiness, our mission is to give dogs something different from traditional daycare: a real playdate experience built around small groups, personal attention, and carefully matched friendships. Instead of placing many dogs together in a crowded daycare environment, we create small, thoughtfully matched playgroups based on each dog’s personality, temperament, energy level, and social needs. Dogs are picked up from home, spend their day playing, exploring, socializing, resting, and enjoying the company of dogs they know and trust, and are brought safely home again. We believe dogs thrive when they are treated as individuals—not as numbers in a daycare group. By knowing every dog personally and building consistent social groups, we create an environment where dogs can develop genuine friendships, confidence, and a sense of belonging. Our playdates start with a minimum of two days per week because consistency matters. Seeing the same friends regularly helps dogs become comfortable with their group, build real social bonds, settle into a familiar routine, and allows us to understand each dog well enough to create the safest and happiest playdate experience possible. Love and Puppiness is more than daycare. It’s a playdate with their friends—and a day dogs can truly look forward to.
