What Reviews Say

23 reviews analyzed

The Grateful Dog is highly regarded for its socialization programs and friendly, attentive staff, with many owners reporting their dogs return home happy and 'exhausted.' While the facility receives praise for its cleanliness and value, there is a significant red flag regarding a senior dog's medical decline during a stay. The owner is highly active in responses, providing detailed context for negative reviews and maintaining a professional, protective stance over the facility's safety protocols.

Staff shoutouts

Ernie(4 mentions)

Worth noting

Severe medical neglect and illness

She contracted bacterial pneumonia... her eye was so crusted shut I thought she had lost an eyeball. She hadn’t been eating for days and no one bothered to call me.

Aggressive dog incidents

He was involved in a few aggressive attacks on some of our dogs, and I terminated his membership.

Odor (Urine)(2 mentions)

Our leashes did come home smelling/saturated with urine... pups do come home bearing a bit of pee odor.
