What Reviews Say

128 reviews analyzed

The Pet Lodge is highly regarded by long-term clients for its affordable boarding and caring environment, particularly for anxious dogs who 'perk up' upon arrival. While the majority of feedback is glowing, there are significant recurring concerns regarding grooming safety, with multiple reports of dogs returning with cuts or smelling of urine. Potential customers should appreciate the transparency of their facility tours but may want to exercise caution regarding grooming services and 'hidden' add-on fees.

Staff shoutouts

Worth noting

Grooming injuries (cuts/bleeding)

I saw that there were cuts all over her body, including her head... Most of the places that were cut had moles.

Sanitation concerns (urine smell)

They smelled like they had been sitting in their urine all week, the floor was wet.

Overbooking/Downgrading facilities

called the day before our scheduled holiday reservation to tell us they overbooked and that our dogs were being downgraded to a non-climate controlled kennel.

Grooming quality/safety(4 mentions)

This woman basically just shaved my dog, uneven spots, really terrible looking haircut.

Hidden fees/Pricing disputes(3 mentions)

Every little thing costs more money!! You will end up broke because of all the 'hidden' costs.

Staff rudeness (specific individuals)(4 mentions)

The girl who answered the phone was very short with me, provided the least amount of information possible.
