What Reviews Say

86 reviews analyzed

University Pet Resort is highly regarded for its friendly staff and the convenience of having an adjacent veterinary clinic. While the majority of clients report happy pets and great social media updates, there are significant safety concerns regarding a past escape incident and unexplained physical injuries. Additionally, many customers find the lack of Sunday hours and standard business-hour constraints difficult for travel logistics.

Worth noting

Dog escaped facility through a hole in the fence

Pinky was out on the yard and she escaped through a hole in the fence that they didn't realize was there and ran into the orchards across the street.

Physical injury/Chemical burns

both of my dogs testicles were raw like they were burnt... It may be urine, so my poor dogs been in pain for over a week.

Unexplained injury and behavioral changes

She was walking with a Limp and her right eye was swollen & looked as if she was kicked, wouldn't eat & slept in her bed for 4 days.

Inconvenient hours(2 mentions)

their hours are so inconvenient. They're not open on Sundays... if you work 8-5 like many people do, you have to take off work to drop off or pick up.

Lost personal items (toys/blankets)(2 mentions)

Only problem we’ve had is losing toys. They (dogs) take them into the common area and other dogs play with them and when your dogs go back in their kennel the toy is forgotten.
