What Reviews Say
301 reviews analyzedDog Diggity Daycare & Boarding enjoys a strong reputation among long-term customers with the majority of 301 reviews being highly positive, praising the friendly staff, happy dogs, and convenient services. However, a significant minority of negative reviews raise serious concerns about safety incidents including dog attacks, alleged improper handling by ownership, inconsistent feeding practices, and kennel cough outbreaks without proper notification. The facility has notable staff turnover issues and communication gaps that have frustrated some customers. While the owner responds professionally to reviews, the safety score is notably low due to documented injury incidents and concerning allegations. Prospective customers should weigh the high volume of satisfied long-term clients against the serious red flags in negative reviews.

Worth noting
Dog attack resulting in serious injuries with no veterinary care provided
โOur golden retriever was attacked by a pit bull at Dog Diggity, and sustained serious injuries to his face and ear. They admitted the attack was unprovoked. They also admitted that the brother of the pit bull that attacked our dog had a violent history boarding at Dog Diggity, yet they continued to let it's sibling that attacked our dog board there.โ
Owner allegedly kicking dogs
โMost upsetting of all, in August 2021 I witnessed Todd (the owner) kick a dog to the ground 2-3 times because she didn't want to have her nails done.โ
Dogs left unattended for 11 hours overnight during boarding
โWhen I dropped her off, I was informed that they leave the animals alone overnight for close to 11 hours, which was alarming to find out.โ
Dog nose injured from rubbing on crate after bath, left unattended
โAfter her bath, my dog was left unattended and rubbed her nose on the crate to the point of having a severe wound on her nose.โ
Kennel cough outbreaks with no notification to pet parents
โMy dog started 'coughing' and I asked the kennel techs to keep an eye on it. When I picked him up they very casually said they had a few cases of kennel cough 'a week or so ago'. I asked about contact tracing and letting the pet parents know about it, and no one seemed to know of any protocol in place.โ
Feeding issues - dogs not fed properly or food not given as instructed(5 mentions)
โWe were shocked when we picked him up and they gave us a bag with more than half of the food still left! Based on the amount leftover this meant they were only feeding him 1/2 cup at each feeding, drastically less than what our still-growing puppy needs.โ
Staff turnover and inconsistent customer service(4 mentions)
โOver the last year there has been so much (and constant) turnover that you don't recognize anybody working there and they don't recognize you.โ
Dogs getting sick (diarrhea, vomiting, kennel cough)(8 mentions)
โWithin a couple hours of leaving the facility, my dog experienced diarrhea, hacking, and vomiting.โ
Poor communication about dog behavior and incidents(4 mentions)
โWhenever we used to call to check on our pup, the people who answer the phone used to tell that our pup is doing great... When we arrived to pick her up, the people who were at the front desk they tell a totally different story.โ
Dogs failing temperament tests unexpectedly(5 mentions)
โWe failed our temperament test as well. After my 7 month old pup was there for four hours I got a call saying he had failed due to trying to mount other dogs.โ
No cameras or facility tours(4 mentions)
โThe facility only offers tours at very limited times and has no cameras.โ
