Dog died from suspected rat poison ingestion while in facility's care - internal bleeding, death a week later

“We left our vacation immediately and my husband went back and picked up the dog after being there for 2 weeks and took her straight to the emergency room. The Dr. told us that she has internal bleeding 🩸! It was caused from ingesting rat poison.”

Facility left unattended during posted hours (1-3pm) - cameras only

“I stopped to pick the dog up early and no one was on site. Finally, someone came and when I asked who was watching the dogs he said 'The camera's'. I understand they are closed from 1-3 pm, but the facility shouldn't be left unattended.”

Dog injured (large scratch on abdomen) with no staff notification or action

“She also had a large scratch across her abdomen and nothing was said about that either.”

Facility cleanliness/odor issues

“The smell of urine hurt my eyes and nose, (cant imagine how much that would irritate your dog after 2 days) no turn out to run and play, damp surroundings”

Lack of communication about dog issues

“During this visit, my dog didn't eat and I wasn't told about it and nothing was done about it.”

Unclear pickup times

“Pick up times weren't clear enough, that I gave them one less star.”
