What Reviews Say
246 reviews analyzedPuparazzi enjoys overwhelmingly positive reviews (92% 5-star) with pet parents praising the live webcams, daily report cards, friendly staff, and clean facility. However, there are serious red flags including multiple accounts of starvation/neglect, a physical abuse incident, disease outbreak cover-up allegations, and giardia contamination. The majority of customers are repeat visitors who appreciate the transparency and communication, but the safety-related complaints represent significant concerns that potential customers should carefully consider.

Worth noting
Starvation/feeding neglect - dog not fed for extended periods
โThis place starved our dog twice and lied to cover it up... she was returned to us with almost all of her food untouched... the manager later confirmed on camera that she had not been fed at all.โ
Physical abuse of dog by employee
โMy dogs were physically attacked by one of their employees... she uses all her force to pin down a scared 30-pound dog.โ
Disease outbreak cover-up (respiratory illness)
โPuparazzi continued to lie and send out emails... that there were no known cases of the respiratory disease... Many dogs in LA have died from this disease.โ
Giardia contamination
โGIARDIA FACTORY HERE. My dog caught giardia TWICE... They don't require giardia tests. They literally just care about profits.โ
Severe neglect resulting in emaciation
โHe was skin and bones, ribs and spine jutting out... Our vet immediately diagnosed him as emaciated with a body condition score of 2/9, dehydrated, and likely neglected for an extended period.โ
Inadequate potty breaks / neglect during daycare(2 mentions)
โThey didn't seem to care... One of the staff told me that they didn't have time to let dogs go potty outdoor... how could you only give dogs one potty break throughout the day?โ
Poor communication about health issues(2 mentions)
โI received a call... that there was some blood found in his vomit... I had to be the one to chase after them a little for updates when I was out of town.โ
Staff rudeness/condescension(2 mentions)
โThe staff has been completely condescending and rude on MULTIPLE occasions.โ
Insufficient feeding during long stays(2 mentions)
โThey only fed her half a greenie over a ten hour day.โ
