What Reviews Say
134 reviews analyzedStarwood Pet Resort enjoys overwhelmingly positive reviews (approximately 87% 5-star ratings) with customers praising the caring staff, excellent communication via Facebook photos, and fair pricing. The facility is lauded for accommodating reactive and special-needs dogs, including diabetic pets. However, there are serious red flags including a dog bite incident with surgery costs that were only partially paid, a dog with chemical burns on paw pads, and an overheating incident - all suggesting occasional safety gaps. The facility is described as 'not fancy' but functional. Recent ownership change to Shawn and Stacey appears well-received, with many improvements noted. The owner responds to every review professionally within 1 day.

Dog overheated in facility - temp control issues
โPicked up my English bulldogs. They were over heated. Supposed to have been in a temp controlled area. The dog was in the car panting and wheezing at the same time.โ
