What Reviews Say
396 reviews analyzedK9 Resorts Luxury Pet Hotel Bethlehem receives overwhelmingly positive reviews with a near-perfect average rating. The facility is praised for its exceptional cleanliness, luxurious appearance, and staff who genuinely love dogs. Communication is a strong suit - owners receive daily photo updates and proactive calls about their pets' wellbeing. While most dogs return happy and well-cared for, there are a small number of concerning reviews regarding overnight supervision (dogs left alone without staff present), a few cases of dogs contracting kennel cough, and some complaints about aggressive upselling tactics and higher-than-average pricing. The owner is highly engaged, responding to nearly every review professionally. The vast majority of customers are repeat visitors who highly recommend the facility.

Worth noting
No overnight staff - dogs left alone at night with no supervision
βWe discovered that at night the dogs are completely alone and locked in something they call a roomβit's the same as locking your dog alone in the dark at night in a slightly larger cage.β
Dog contracted kennel cough after boarding
βWhen I picked him up, I come to find out he doesn't have a voice. I took him to the vet and found out he has kennel cough.β
Dog returned sick with rash and weight loss
βMy puppy has been very sick since staying there. She lost a significant amount of weight... She came back with a really bad rash.β
Dog injured nose from anxiety/crate scratching during overnight stay
βHe broke skin on his nose and was bleeding a little... they put cameras in the room with him so they could monitor him all night.β
Dog returned with feces caked to bottom and raw bleeding skin
βOne of my dogs had feces caked to his bottom and had raw, bleeding skin in that area. This was not disclosed to us, we found it upon picking them up.β
Aggressive sales tactics and upselling
βThe sales tactics at this place are relentless and it's a huge turn off for me.β
Expensive pricing with mandatory fees(3 mentions)
βTheir boarding rates are very expensive for the area (about $100 more for a three night stay) and they charge you a mandatory $35 additional for an exit bath.β
No overnight staff supervision
βThey also don't have staff that stay overnight with the pets, as most other places do, so you're actually paying a lot more for a lot less actual supervision.β
Unresponsive to calls during overnight hours
βI called over 50 times and absolutely no one answered.β
Dog returned with hygiene issues (urine-soaked, not let out to bathroom)
βI got my dog back and his legs and paws were covered in pee... Wonder if they ever let him out to use the bathroom at all.β
