What Reviews Say
614 reviews analyzedPiper Glen Animal Hospital is overwhelmingly regarded as an exceptional veterinary practice with a 5-star average across 614 reviews. The facility excels in compassionate care, particularly highlighted in end-of-life situations, and maintains remarkable client loyalty with many families returning for 15-25 years. While the veterinary staff (especially Dr. Wood, Dr. Brown, and Dr. Lewis) receive consistent praise for expertise and genuine animal care, there are notable concerns including rare but serious safety incidents (vaccine error, misdiagnosis), front desk inconsistency, and pricing concerns. The owner actively responds to reviews with professional, personalized messages. The boarding and grooming services are generally well-received, though occasional communication gaps exist. Value for money is the lowest-scored category due to pricing concerns, though many clients note quality justifies the cost.

Vaccine administration error - gave repeat Lepto vaccine to senior diabetic/kidney disease dog
โMy senior rescue who is blind, diabetic and has kidney disease arrived for her 4-month renal blood work today and instead was given a repeat dose of the Lepto vaccine (that she received last month.) This mistake could have severe effects on her kidneys. It could kill her.โ
Misdiagnosis leading to pet death
โOur little boy passed way too young because they botched an easy diagnosis in too much of a hurry and missed that he got pneumonia and lungs filled with fluid.โ
Denied service to client
โI was called and told by the manager Jessica, an hour later, telling me that I was not welcome there due to the fact that they felt 'uncomfortable'. My dog was DENIED SERVICE because of how people feel.โ
