PACCC Certified Staff

Candidates must meet eligibility requirements including documented work experience in animal care (typically 2+ years for CPACP, more for higher levels), complete a formal application, and pass a proctored exam offered three times per year. Exam fees range from $385 (CPACP) to $585 (CPACO).

The exam covers animal health and nutrition, animal behavior and body language, facility design and maintenance, safety and sanitation protocols, disease prevention and management, emergency preparedness, and business operations.
